Mary has run a one-to-one private consultation business for many years, dealing with a range of client issues.
A strong believer in the necessity for ongoing professional and personal development and education, Mary recognises the need for integrating work and lifestyle so harmonious relationships are attained; with stress and overwhelm prevented.
Mary was recognised in 2014 with the designation of Fellow of International Training in Communication. She is an accredited POWERtalk International Corporate Trainer and regularly trains and coaches groups in removing fear, gaining confidence and improving communication skills.
She has presented internationally in leadership, intergenerational communication, interpersonal skills, marketing and Organisational Commitment, is the recipient of speaking awards and several national and international writing awards in fiction, non-fiction and poetry.
Mary is a mother of two active boys, so has an intimate understanding of the pressures faced by today’s working mothers. Through her own experiences, she has learnt strategies to deal with these maternal pressures as well as those presented by children as they challenge the boundaries throughout their youth.
Mary has a specific interest in communication, particularly intergenerational communication and strategies to bridge the generation gap. She continues to implement this special understanding into all aspects of her training, in order that better communication may be achieved in every facet of her clients' lives.
Mary is a member of the Professional Counsellor's Association of Australia Inc. and currently is President of the Organisation.
